Minor Surgery
EPC launched a self pay minor surgery service in October 2008.
This service will be aimed at patients with benign minor lumps or bumps which are no longer funded on the NHS. EPC has designed a minor ops service in the local community to offer patients an alternative option. The service allows patients to choose to fund their own treatment whilst offering patients the following benefits:
- Minor surgery is undertaken by a local consultant general surgeon with full accreditation in national health hospitals
- The service is provided in local GP practices, fully equipped with modern minor ops suites
- Affordable prices
- Short waiting times – we aim to complete each procedure within 4–6 weeks
The service is provided at Stowhealth Centre in Stowmarket and Framfield House Surgery in Woodbridge, Suffolk, both of which are equipped with comfortable modern facilities. We currently treat the following conditions:
- Benign pigmented moles
- Corns/Callous
- Lipomas
- Milia
- Seborrhoeic Keratoses
- Skin Tags
- Warts
- Sebaceous Cysts
- Dermatofibromas
The cost of treatment starts at £300 irrespective of which procedure you require. In the event that you require several procedures, the price may be subject to change, however this would be discussed with you prior to surgery.
